Onegiftsgift offers online language tutoring services delivered through live video sessions. Due to the digital nature and immediate consumption of our services, we have specific policies regarding cancellations, refunds, and returns. This Return Policy explains your rights and our procedures regarding lesson cancellations, subscription cancellations, and refund requests.
Free Trial Lessons
Free trial lessons are provided at no cost and cannot be refunded. If you are not satisfied with your free trial lesson experience, you are under no obligation to purchase paid services. We encourage you to use the free trial to evaluate our teaching quality and ensure our services meet your expectations before making a purchase.
Lesson Cancellation Policy
You may cancel or reschedule a scheduled lesson at no charge if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time may result in the forfeiture of that lesson credit, as tutors have reserved time specifically for your session. In cases of emergency or extenuating circumstances, we may make exceptions at our discretion. To cancel or reschedule a lesson, please contact us through your student dashboard or reach out to our support team.
Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. When you cancel a subscription, you will continue to have access to the services until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of the current billing period, but you will not be charged for future billing periods. Unused lesson credits from your current subscription period will remain available for use until the end of your subscription term but will not carry over to future billing cycles unless otherwise specified in your subscription plan.
Refund Policy for Individual Lessons
Individual lessons purchased on a pay-per-lesson basis are generally non-refundable once the lesson has been completed. If you are unable to attend a scheduled lesson and cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you forfeit the lesson credit without refund. However, if a lesson is cancelled by us due to tutor unavailability or technical issues on our part, we will reschedule the lesson at no charge or provide a full refund for that lesson at your request.
Refund Policy for Subscription Plans
Subscription plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis. If you cancel your subscription within 14 days of the initial purchase and have not used more than 25% of the included lessons, you may be eligible for a full refund of that month's payment. After 14 days or if you have used more than 25% of your lessons, refunds are provided on a prorated basis for unused lesson credits only, calculated from the date of cancellation. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We are committed to providing high-quality language tutoring services. If you are not satisfied with a lesson due to tutor performance or service quality, please contact us within 48 hours of the lesson completion. We will investigate your concern and may offer a replacement lesson with a different tutor at no additional charge or, in exceptional circumstances, provide a refund for that specific lesson. This guarantee does not apply if you are simply not making expected progress, as learning outcomes depend on many factors including your commitment, practice, and time invested.
Special Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations may arise. In cases of serious illness, family emergencies, or other documented extenuating circumstances, we will work with you to find a fair resolution. Please contact our support team as soon as possible with documentation of your circumstances, and we will review your situation on a case-by-case basis.
Technical Issues
If you experience technical issues that prevent you from accessing or completing a lesson due to problems on our end, we will reschedule the lesson at no charge or provide a refund for that lesson. If the technical issues are due to your internet connection, device, or software on your end, we may still attempt to reschedule, but refunds will not be provided. We recommend testing your connection and equipment before scheduled lessons.
Chargeback and Payment Disputes
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving any billing issues fairly and quickly. Chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of your account and may affect your ability to use our services in the future. We will work with you to resolve legitimate disputes through our support channels.
Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider, but typically range from 5 to 10 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed. Please note that currency exchange rates may affect refund amounts for international transactions, and any fees charged by your bank or payment provider are not refundable by us.

We reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
